This past week I had the pleasure of being interviewed on two radio stations. These interviews have been archived on their web sites at http://www.crosstalkamerica.com (I was on Thursday, October 5th) and http://www.wwjc.com (I was on Monday, October 9th). Please feel free to listen in!
Also this week I will be discussing my new book, "Along Comes Grandpa, Caregiving Resources for People in the Real World" and will share my experience caring for my own Grandfather along with helpful information for family members who are caring for an aging loved one at Eastgate Manor, 101 Eastgate Court, Algonquin, IL on Oct. 12th at 7:15pm
Family caregivers today are overwhelmed by the demands put on them trying to meet the needs of an aging loved one, as well as handling the day to day demands of home, work and family. The stress can often lead to caregivers not being able to access resources that are right in front of them. Senior advocate and caregiving expert Sue Salach has created a resource to assist family caregivers and relieve the stress caused by trying to meet the needs of an aging loved one. This resource shares her personal story of walking in the shoes of a caregiver along with vital tips to help family caregivers along their journey.
This event is free of charge and open to the community. For information on the event contact Lynn Skubiszewski at 847-458-2800.
So much more is happening! I will keep you updated and more interviews and events come along!
Have a wonderful day and remember whatever you choose to do today, do it with a SMILE!
Wishing you patience, love and compassion,

Sue Salach
